How I Can Help

Most people arrive at one of these four doors. All of them lead to the same deeper work.

Manage Overwhelm

Let go of anxiety and overwhelm. Show up more fully in your life.

Anxiety and overwhelm show up differently for everyone. For some it’s physical: tension, racing heart, the inability to sit still. For others it’s mental: repetitive thoughts, the constant hum of worry, the feeling that you’re always waiting for something to go wrong.

“My anxiety was so severe that my body’s response was to faint. I’ve passed out on Capitol Hill, at others' weddings, and once in the West Wing of the White House. It was my nervous system’s hard reset.”

I’ve spent years learning how to work with my anxiety and overwhelm instead of being taken down by it. Now I help others do the same.

This is for you if...

  • Anxiety is affecting your performance at work, your relationships, or your sense of self.
  • You’re a high-achiever who’s good at pushing through, but you can feel the cost of it.
  • You’re showing up for everyone else’s needs while quietly drowning in your own.
  • You know something needs to change but the thought of changing feels like too much.

What we’ll actually do

Using positive psychology and mindfulness-based approaches, we’ll explore the roots of your anxiety and overwhelm, not just manage the symptoms. We’ll look at the beliefs that feed it, the habits that sustain it, and the boundaries that, once set, start to dissolve it. You won’t just feel better. You’ll understand why you feel the way you do.

Overcome Burnout

Come back from burnout and build something that’s actually sustainable.

Burnout is more than just being tired. It’s what happens when you’ve been running on empty for so long that your body and brain finally stop cooperating with you. It’s when compassion starts to feel like a resource you’ve run out of. It’s when the work you used to love feels hollow.

I know this one personally. By my early 30s, I was a mess. Exhausted, always sick, filled with anxious thoughts and anxious energy. I often tried to make everyone happy except myself.

Burnout in the nonprofit and advocacy world has a specific flavor. The mission matters so much that it’s hard to protect yourself from it. If you care about the health of the movement, you need to care about your own health. And right now, you’re not.

Signs you might be here

  • You feel responsible for everyone else’s productivity and emotional wellbeing.
  • You feel you can’t stop to take care of yourself because you will let your organization’s clients or direct recipients down.
  • You’re battling compassion fatigue. Yes, you still care, but you’re running out of capacity to show it.
  • You’re physically, emotionally, or spiritually drained in ways that sleep alone can’t fix.

What we’ll actually do

We’ll reconnect you with what actually matters to you, what gives you energy instead of draining it. We’ll look at the places where your boundaries have eroded, the habits that are compounding the exhaustion, and negative beliefs about what a “good” advocate or leader looks like. We’ll do the deep work to uncover what’s keeping you stuck, and we’ll put something more sustainable in its place.

Find Your Path

It’s not just the job. So you can’t just jump to the next one.

Here’s what I see constantly: someone is unhappy at work and they decide the solution is a different job. They update their resume, interview, land something new … and, six months to a year later, they still feel just as stuck. Different title, different office, same feeling.

That’s because the job is usually the symptom, not the cause. The cause is something deeper. You are performing a way of being in the world that isn’t actually working for you anymore. Boundaries you haven’t been setting. Needs you haven’t been naming. A version of yourself you’ve been performing instead of inhabiting.

You can’t just change your job. You have to change the path. And you don’t have to know where the path goes. You just have to start making one-degree turns toward what feels like freedom.

This is for you if...

  • You believe the problem is the job but you also have a sneaky feeling that it’s something more.
  • You know something needs to change, but you can’t see clearly what it is.
  • You’ve been defining yourself by your job for so long you’re not sure who you are without it.
  • You keep making external changes by switching up your job, city, or role without feeling meaningfully different.
  • You’re ready to do the internal work, not just make another move.

What we’ll actually do

We’ll figure out what isn’t working and, more importantly, why. We’ll get clear on what you actually want in your work, relationships, and life in general. Then, we’ll start testing those things in the real world. Not a five-year plan. A process of noticing, turning, and adjusting until you’re on a path that actually fits.

ADHD Coaching

For managers and executives who are brilliant at their work, and exhausted by everything else.

If you have ADHD, you probably already know your challenges aren’t about intelligence or drive. You have plenty of both. The challenges are about systems, energy, and a world that was mostly not designed for how your brain works.

I was diagnosed at 52, after decades of being told I couldn’t possibly have ADHD because I was too organized, too together, and too functional. What I actually had was a set of strategies that were burning me out in ways no one around me could see.

What changed everything for me wasn’t adding more tools. It was subtracting the things that weren’t working, and building support systems that actually fit my brain.

The Curb-Cut Principle Supports for people with ADHD are like curb cuts for people who have physical disabilities: They help everyone. I coach people on how to tune into what you need, advocate for it, and build systems around it. That’s valuable whether you’re an ADHDer or not. It’s just that some of the specific challenges, and some of the specific solutions, look different for us.

What I can help with

  • Managing energy, not just time. Knowing when you’re at your best and building your life around that.
  • Understanding how ADHD shows up specifically in your work and your leadership.
  • Recognizing rejection sensitivity and other ADHD-specific emotional patterns at work.
  • Building support systems that actually work for your brain, not someone else’s.
  • Advocating for yourself in workplaces that may not understand neurodiversity very well.
